Default 21/18 front tire

There has been some debate over having a 21 front tire is safe or effects handling. So is a 18 front a better option or compromise to get somewhat of a custom look.
Thanks

I have put over 15,000 miles on mt 21" front and 18" rear this year with no ill effects and it handles great. You can ask 50 different people and get 50 different answers on this subject, but it all boils down to what you want the bike to look like and what type of riding you are going to do with your bike as to which way to go.
