fwiw....I had a quadzilla on a metric bike I had.

After it is prepped and painted properly, the fit and finish is top notch.

The speakers will blow you off the seat!!!!!!!! Very loud and very clear.

Has anybody looked into putting a stock Ultra or SG fairing on a RK? I read the post on the RG conversion and it was very informative, but a different animal. I like the Dragonfly but I really want the stock fairing with all the gauges. Would it be worth the money or should I just save the dough and upgrade to the Ultra when I can?

Glenn the guy that did all the R&D work for hoppie ( Quadzilla ) has his own business now. He's 100% straight and a pleasure to deal with.

+1 on the tsukaya http://firebagger.com/

This could easily turn into the infamous "oil thread" or "best stabilizer"... You've just got to do your own research, and make your own decision. Input is good, but YOU'RE the one layin' down the coin so you best make the right decision..... This is a pretty spendy little option to throw on the King. But I can honestly say, it was on my best! Stickin' with the Dead Center recommendation... Those folks are customer oriented beyond belief. I've never seen customer service like that before, bar none, anywhere!

you could do it and buy the fairing for less than the aftermarket ones, but the big problem would come in when you go to wire up the guages. the wiring harness is different. i suspect that by the time you were done, it would end up costing more than the aftermarket, and be a royal pita. course some people like running electrical wiring..... i'm not one of them.

Tsukayu = Fiberglass, lockable. From bare fairing to painted with stereo.
