Guys I was just asking if it would lift it high enough to take the wheel off. I use the sears jack to move the bikes around in the garage and for misc cleaning duties. I have a handy sam lift in my basement that I use for both my ultra and bourget without issue.
Thanks again for your help!

damn another my jack is better than your jack thread. i guess it got hijacked somewhere down the line. to answer the first question before all the experts chimed in on the jack bashing. yes the sears red or yellow jack will lift the bike high enough. the bike will be high enough even when the first safety latch engages.

I have a 1999 Ultra Classic and a Sears jack. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It will raise the bike way more then enough to get rear tire off. I even roll mine outside and wash the bike on it. I never strap it down. I might get me some time, but haven't had a problem. Roll it around in my garage all the time. I have had the back tire off without putting anything under front tire. You need to have the jack back as far as you can get it. Right where the cross member goes under the frame in front of back tire.

I would use the red on a sportster, a yellow on your bike.
