Mine is still under 500 miles breakin mode with Stage 1 AC and download with Screamin Eagle Performance Touring mufflers. I got 34 mpg first tank strictly city commuting with lots of stop lights, 37 second tank with a 120 mile light highway trip mixed in. I hope to see low 40's like my 06 after break in, but I realize the 09 is bigger, heavier with more displacment.

ssfirefighter: What kind of mileage did you get on your Train? Another question, what kind of mph are you running...the same as with your Train?
For example, on my 04 RK with the 88 and 5 speed, I get 48-51 at 65 mph, but when I run 75mph I get 44-45. Are your speeds the same?

Mine is total stock engine and gets about the same at 2000+ miles on it right now. Probably closer to 35 - 38 miles, hopefully this will improve with time.
Just wish it would warm up just a tad more so I could break in some more miles.

If I ride like a pu$$y I can squeak out 44 mpg. If I ride like I want to I get about 38.
6 mpg difference, at let's say $2.50 a gallon...that's 41 cents a mile...I say live large and give it the gas!!

I have an '09 Ultra with SE slipons, air cleaner and remapped by the dealer. Around town I'm getting around 35 to 37 mpg. My best was 49+, but it was all highway cruising along about 75ish.
