Since I'm in the middle of installing chrome switch housings & switches, I decided to install a chrome master & clutch lever bracket. So, since it's all apart anyways, I may as well remove my inner & get it painted to match. Since I'm installing a chrome master & have to drain the old one, I might as well install a braided brake line while I'm at it.
What the hell, might as well spend all my money.
Looking on the HD website, other than $10, what is the difference between the braided lines, and the diamondback braided lines?
Supposedly, the DB's stay brighter longer. Stainless has a tendency to yellow with age. I sell stainless steel for a living and know for a fact that if you don't keep the braided stainless well cleaned, it will rust.
if you like the diamond back... I suggest Magnum sterling II chromite instead, seems to be better quality than the diamond back and a bit cheaper too than HD brand. If you also want like chrome looking plug wires I suggest kool lines wires and not the magnum versions..
stainless is a bit dull vs. the chromite, up too you, if you like em get em, I had stainless on my rear brake line(out of sight) and chromite on my bars..
+1 on the Chromite II's. I just put clutch and throttle/idle cables on mine, when I did the bar swap to Khromewerks sweepers. They look great. Probably do the front brake lines for Christmas.
