Hi anyone know where to mount the cable attached lever that comes with the gas cylinder adjustable back rest? I bought one and didn't come with instructions. If you could help me out that would be great and I really appreciate it.
The lever device has a bolt and bracket that goes somewhere? I looked up and down the frame thinking I would find a place that was ready to receive it but I can't find it?
Left side of the bike right below your left hip when sitting on the bike. I don't have mine anymore but if I remember right it mounts right where the 2 frame members meet. There is a plate with a hole that the bolt goes thru and the little nub on the lever goes in the other hole. Clear as mud?
Be glad you don't have the HD instructions. They are clear as mud!!!!
Mounting the bracket took more time then anything else because the diagrams on the instruction sheet showed the bracket and related parts reversed and if you mounted it that way, the bracket would be upside down.
If you can't figure it out by tomorrow, advise and I'll scan the HD directions.
