2009 Bagger Tires
I read somewhere that Dunlop designed a new tire for stock use on the new 2009 baggers. It is supposed to get more mileage and doesn't follow tar snakes and stuff like the stock 402's.
I ride a 2007 street glide and have always had an issue with the way the bike tends to follow irregularities in the pavement especially the longitudinal tar filled cracks that get slick in the heat and in the cold.
Has anyone experienced an improvement with the new tires and do they fit the stock 2007 rims? Has anyone ridden enough on these new skins to know if the extended mileage claims are true?
Any idea what the new tires code numbers and cost are?

1. Yes the 09 touring bikes have new tires
2. Yes (IMHO) they improve a LOT on handling over ruts, grooves, etc.
3. No, they will not fit on your pre-09 bike, as the rim sizes and widths have changed for 09.
4. Will a similar tire be offered for prev years? Who knows.
5. Do the new dual compounds wear better? Cant tell ya, not enough miles yet.
