I thought it was cool when it came out, still like it. I have a Street Rod and a FXD so don't know where it would really fit......

Wish they would offer it in Nightster trim.

I'm 62 and would love to have one. But I also had a XLCR and a XR1000 when they came out. But at this point in my life I will pass on this one.

Nice looking bike - too much dough for what it can be used for in my opinion. I agree on what someone above said that a Busa would be better - preferrably a used one.

I really like it except for the up-swept mufflers. (And I've already stirred the pot on another XR1200 thread with this.) If they are only making 750 for the US market forget trying to buy one unless you know someone, or have a big wad in your pocket. And that's too bad.

From what I hear, it is a damned quick bike though and was redone for 09. Yea, its a YAMMY but a fast one...

I think they should have bored and stroked it to 100" with the S&S kit. Give it some "real" attitude, not just that bolt on crap.
