I really find the adjustable... well adjustable which is why it is great. If you have a tourpak you might want to move it back a bit. My wife is small and fits in no problem, but when I recline it and I have my daughter who is a bit bigger, it's a no go. IN short go adjustable, I think you will be pleased.

i had the fixed one. Kept it for about a weeks and then sold it on Ebay.

The adjustable one IMO, is far better.

Default Adjustable!

Don't know about the fixed, but a guy at the dealer suggested adjustable, and I'm glad he did. I tweak it every so often and it works great!

I like the adjustable and most of the time it's in one position but on occasion it's nice being able to move it around fort additional comfort on long rides.

Not even a choice... you spent the extra on the bike now spend a few bucks more on the adjustable... it gives you options....

I installed mine this week and am glad I have it. I will defintely use it but don't like the looks of it with the sundowner seat. When the stock is on it spreads the opening out a little and looks weird. I am going to play around with it some this weekend.

You guys just justified me spending the extra money -- it was 10% of day at HD (this is Canada, 10% off is an awesome deal!) and they didn't have the fixed, so I ponied up the extra for the adjustable. Still haven't installed it; bike is off the road till the thaw, but now I'm sure I made the right decision.

Yep, If your going to get one, get one that adjusts.

If you don't you'll understand after about 50 miles why you should have.
