Anyone have this air set-up? How do you like this vs. the SE kit??? Does it work with FI?

Is it similar to or better than the SE kit - Someone told me it's a better kit cause it opens up the back plate? Anyway, I went ahead and bought one.

I am still trying to figure out which tuner to get - I guess I'll just go with the PCIII USB as I can't get a straight answer about the SERT tuner from anyone online or off. Harley stopped making the one shot chips so I'm stuck having to spend +$200 and I didn't want to do that as my only mods will be pipes and an air box...

Scttgr8, I see you are from Indy. I am in Brownsburg.

What are you using for a tuner for your FI? I have a 2006 RK Std on order.

I have heard the K&N is the way to go and when mine comes in that's the way I am going. I am not sure about the pipes yet.

I understand that the SE air filter is junk (which I have) and the K&N is a better filter.

Are you talking about a download/map flash for when you change the air filter & exhaust? Harley has not stopped doing that, any H-D dealer should be able to do a map change for you. Stage I download is about $150.
As for not getting a straight answer or info on the Screaming Eagle Race Tuner, search this forum, there are numerous posts & lots of GREAT info.

Local Service Manager is swapping out the SE filter for K&N for free, when buying the SE A/C kit, must be a problem with the SE filter on newer bikes???

May be the holes getting burnt in them, as posted here a week or so ago.........
