with shield and w/o.16" L.A.CHOPPERS.W/O shield they are pushed forward.

Finally got my new apes installed. Bought some new mirrors, and got rid of the Tach. I also removed the engine guard for a cleaner look.

Default 16" apes
I'm 5'8", they go straight even with the bottom of my shoulders (legal in Florida). Please take a look at your state laws concerning Ape's, some states are very strict concerning bar height.

Always liked the look and feel of apes,had them on my previous fatboy but one of the main things is how comfortable they are atleast to me.But most who have not tried them have a hard time believing or understanding.Personally i dont like the beach type bars but others love them.But thats ok to each his own.
