I am looking to get some more chrome for my '07 FLHR. Specifically on the list is the chrome for the bags and luggage rack. I am also looking for a more stylish front light bar. I saw one in the shape of a "V" that would look cool. Having said that, I wonder whose chrome holds up the best and whose to stay away from. I ride in all weather on my FLHR but with my old ironhead sporty I noticed that some of the chrome I bought started rusting almost as soon as it came out of the package. Suggestions?
Browns? Is this a good or bad place? I looked at their website and it looks like they just plate existing stuff. I need the parts as well. If they are good I might send some of my rusted parts to them to see what they can do.
I have an accessories catalog. I was asking about others who offer the same parts at a more reasonable price. Do any hold up as well as the stuff from Harley? What I am looking at is PN90832-94A and I don't see the light bar that I was looking for.
