I was looking on Ebay and came across a Power commander111 from a place caller FuelMotoUSA after talking with the guy he said that what i would need do is let them know what kind of exaust system i would be running and air cleaner and they will calibrate it to those specs. My question is does anyone out there know of this company and is it that simple
I recently bought one from them. Jamie is real knowledgeable and he can put a map in that should run good. You can also go to the Powercommander web site and see all the available maps for your bikes mods. You can also have the bike custom mapped on a dyno for around 200 bucks.
I have an `04 Ultra Classic and I have the Power Commander III usb, and I downloaded the latest software available for the power commander and also the maps and then uploaded the map that went with the configuration I installed. I did not have anyone install it for me. It is very easy and there is great tech support from Dynojet if needed.
Good luck with your bike.
Thanks a lot for the input guys! I am going to be recieveing my rinehart exaust,k&n filter and my powercammander this week and install them i can't wieght.
A PCIII can be used on any year your part number fits, side note it is the same pcIII model that fits all touring models from 02-07, only difference the 07 comes with 02 sensor eliminaters, but fuel moto will sell these for 40.00 so if you had a older model it could be put on a 07 with just the 40.00 purchase. Also on a 06 or 07 the PCIII will have a 3-4 second delay when you start the bike due to harleys newer ecm setup, search the thread read this before buying PCIII, for other details.
