Ruff idle on initial start
I have a fuel injected 00 EGC, 30,000 miles (low miles? - always deployed, retired USMC). I had a stage 1 kit installed by the dealer in 03. This past Jan I installed Rinehart true duels, SS510G gear driven cams and a power commander lll. Down loaded a map off of dynojet.com for the information above. Once I installed all this I adjusted the low and high idles, step by step out of the manual (normal because of the cams and new exhaust?). Reason is with the bike at idle the volt meter was showing just below 12V, once I corrected both rpms the bike had run GREAT, I mean GREAT, until last week, upon initial start the bike fires right up but struggles for about 3-4 seconds to stay running, I have to milk the throttle once or twice to make sure it stays running, so it will hit the cold idle rpm. Today I changed the plugs and thought that might be it (plugs - very black and stunk of gas) plugs since Jan have about 10,000 miles on them. I checked for codes today, it showed none. I'm thinking all of a sudden it has started to run very rich?? Rev it at idle puffs of black smoke roll out the exhaust.
