I did all of what you did and still had problems. After ruining my clutch gear I went with the ACR's. I always knew the police bikes had them on their 103's. And now all the 103's have them as standard equipment. Hope you don't run into the same problems I did.

I just wanted to toss it out there that S&S has the 570CE cam which will rival the SE255 in performance yet it has the S&S patented Easy Start Technology. This eliminates the need for compression releases or starter upgrades.
We have also found that when properly tuned most of our 103ci builds get in the low to mid 40's for gas mileage

I would bet that's why they are standard issue on 2012 103" motors.

My 96" with stage 1 would buck, without CR's, and 0 issues with the 2012 103".
