Oh yeah!! Scrapin' icey windshields, slushy wet feet, shovelin' the driveway and then the plow comes by and deposits all that rock-hard ice/slush/frozen nastiness? That, in a nutshell, is why I migrated from pee-yeah to Texas!

Ride to work daily, just turned on the a/c

 

75 degrees in Fort Myers, FL seeing so many Harleys on the road over the weekend and flew home on plane last night to find about 2" of White Gold on the ground with 28 degrees. I'm growling here...Have that darn itch wanting to ride.

 

6 degress this morning with about 5" of the white stuff.

 

I'm from northern Wisconsin, don't miss it one bit!

One of my assignments in the Army was teaching ROTC at Central Michigan University. Went there from Fort Hood, TX. Talk about change of conditions, I had all the snow I would ever want up there. We got 21 inches one night and it kept going for a week, and that's nothing compared to the folks in the UP. That's why I love NM, even though we have a few bad days, this place was made for motorcycles!

 

It is why I am trying to be very careful about my transfer negotiations.......about told my Boss "I'll pay for the move to AZ.....gotta get riding!" But so far I have played it cool (literally). Hope it settles the final package soon!

 

Could be worse...Dallas could have beat the Steelers last Sunday...How 'bout them Cowboys?!
