I'm also curious about them.

Are the 09' forks differant than the 08's? I lowered my 08' and like the way it handles.

I have them on my '09 SG in order to get the front end back to the stock height when used in conjunction with the 21" front tire... No problems....

I put a 1 1/4" Progressive Kit on my 2000 Roadglide about 3 1/2 years ago and love it. I've also got a 1 1/4 in set of lowering brackets on the back. I didn't got with the Harley Springs because I read better things about Progressive. I didn't use the low profile rear HD shocks because they ride like a log wagon.

Message to johnkn,
Please stop posting the pic of your SG next to your Viper. You are giving me a severe inferiority complex. Plus my wife is tired of hearing me whine like a five year old and saying "Johnny on the forum has a viper why cant I"

I (my dealer) installed the 2009 H-D front lowering springs on my Street Glide to try to get me flat footed. For me, I did not like it. I felt like it rode with a lighter feel thru twisty roads at the stock height. I have since had it removed.

I'm 5'4", 140 lbs.

I did not feel that it rode rougher or harsher over bumps. It was also easier to pick up off the kick stand with the front end lowered.

Everybody has different tastes so you almost have to try it to see what you think.

LOL, sorry, those are the only 3-4 pics I have so far. I've had this darned thing for 2 months and the weather has been crappy, either raining or freezing every time I think about taking pics outside... Dieing to get some good outdoor shots... If I take any more in the garage I'll move the cars around and put the Shelby, the BOSS car, etc. in the middle bottom bay so you don't see the Viper..
