Now that I know what touring is,
I am going to do it as soon as I can get air in my rear tire if I can find it.
If I wasn't so confused on when to get gas, since everyone blinded me on that one as well.
Then if I can figure out how to get on my bike with that darn backrest I guess I'll try touring because nothing else doesn't seem to work because it's too complicated.
Scary to think about going out on a date with the one looking for a Burley biker so I have got to try this touring. It sounds like fun

common denominator is the windshield.....so what about the Heritage?
NO,NO, Senior Chief, A Gold Wing has a windshield and a Heritage is a Softail, not
a Tour Bike. There is NO disgrace when you ride any HARLEY. You just T O U R when you ride a HARLEY TOUR FAMILY BIKE....... Again just my .02....hdman
Yeah, Skratch, Now, you got the picture and if you just ride around the block on your
Road King you are TOURING my friend on that Harley Tour Bike. Man what a cool thing
to have and do. hee hee........... hdman

I toured to work this morning and will be touring home after I decide if I need gas.
I ride my bike, sometimes with sometimes without a passenger, at times I bring stuff and other times not. I ride on a highway and back roads.
Can someone tour on a Sportster? Hmmm, I'm perplexed.
ABSOLUTELY.If you go to the xl forum I asked this same question, there were about 200 responses to that question. The basic answer is you can tour on anything if you so desire.Packing up some gear, either a little bit or a lot and having a trip planned, then that trip requiring an overnight stay after a long day of riding pretty much defined touring as a general concensus.I had a 2007 1200 low that was more than comfortable enoughto tour on, but one guy had done it on a 400 kawasaki.I know one guy that had a hannigan fairing on a klr 650.
