Default Winter Mods in Progress

Damn, I swore I was done with the bike, but it has been a month and a half already since my last ride and I can only polish it so much soooo, here is what's happening.

I have pulled the DTT TDFI IID off and am replacing it with a TTS Mastertune.

The 50mm TB is on its way out and a HPI 55mm will replace it.

I have tried the 30 tooth EVO engine sprocket and didn't like it much on the 120" so, to change the gear ratios I have a Baker DD7 ready to go in and at the same time I will replace the stock compensator with the HD SE unit.

I am debating whether to add the Lock-up pressure plate from Primo to the Primo Pro Clutch I am running. Most likely I will as I will have the clutch assembly off to replace the tranny gears.

When I start the change out of the tranny, I plan to document the steps needed to do this switch to let others know just what they may get into if trying this on their own.

Thank god Mama is understanding. Lesser women would have shot me by now!

LMAO

It is a virtual impossibility for me to leave things as is for very long, and I am an absolute sucker to try something different, in this case it is the DD7.

Last year as you well know it was the HQ - 120.

Ya know, there is always nitrous

(I meant for the bike, not for you!)

Nope, leaving that to the younger guys. I am just an old hotrodder that likes to tinker.

I was totally with you, right up to "here is what's happening". After that, you left me standing on the side of the road, picking my nose, wondering what happened. Good luck and enjoy. You are right, a good woman makes a lot of our toys possible.

Why the switch to Mastertune?? We've talked on the phone and you seemed pretty happy with the Daytona Twin Tech. Also very interested to see photos of changing out the tranny.
