Does anyone make tour pak lights for the Classic? I guess you could by replacement Ultra tourpak lights and install the. I think I saw that on an older thread. I am looking for any other lights available.
The factory Ultra light kits are available, and install fairly easily. They just look so good on there, that i don't know if i would want anything else.
Hey Shek: I'm in the same boat. Got a 09 Classic 2day. Bought the lites for the tourpak and going to install. I've tried to find somebody on here that's installed them; but no luck yet.
I added the lights to my '05 EGC tour pak, it's an easy installation. Bought the factory H-D light kit (it's in H-D's catalogue) on ebay for $135. It came with the lights, wiring, layout template & tour pak liner. I glued the template to a piece of construction paper to stiffen it before using it for the layout. It took about 3 hrs to install the lights, at least 1 hr was measuring & re-measuring to make sure I had the template right before punching that first hole. I used a brad-point drill bit (scoring both sides of the hole with the bit made "tear-out" non-existant). Then a Dremel tool with a stylus and spiral cutting bit to connect the holes. The scariest part is drilling that first hole. Make the cutout slightly inside the template, you can always open it up a little. I cut mine on the line & it should have been tighter to make sealing around the light housing easier. You can always take out a little more material if needed. The tour paks from 1999 and later are already wired for the lights, just remove the steel plate in the bottom of the tour pak, remove the masking tape holding the wiring in place & plug the light wires in to the existing connectors. There was a thread on this in the "Touring" section of the forum in Feb. & Mar. of this year.

Follow the instructions, don't stretch the template. Measure 3x and cut it once. There is plenty of room to cover the cut. It's a bit of a stress, but really I would do it again in a heartbeat. If you are anywhere near me bring the box over and we'll do it in about 45 minutes. Have fun.
Well lets see now,, to add tour pack lights... open trunk, unscrew the four screws, remove plastic, push wire into tour pack,, put screws into the new lights, plug into connector. Yep that was it,, and work and look just fine.
