Here's what we did on my wife's Street Bob. I did a similar style on my Ultra too, no pink of course.

Unless they are clear coated, plan on them wearing off with polishing

Not entirely true....if they were done correctly and the paint is an outdoor sign paint they will outlast the bike, as long as it is waxed by hand, no machine buffing.

Had it happen too 3 differant bikes. I dont choose the cheap way anymore
