This may be more info than anyone wants, but I rarely get to use my Greek exegesis experience, so let me showoff a bit. The "X" in Xmas can stand for a lazy signpainter who didn't want to complete the job OR (my favorite) the "X" is the first letter in the Biblical Greek for Christ, xristos. It's the Greek letter CHI for all you college boys out there.
