Okay okay here's the best gauge I've had.. It from Car Talk website. I have had it for years and works well on about anything that needs accurately checked.

Like the looks/quality of that one, but would it work on my bike with spokes as they give practically no clearance over the valve stem. Need a guage that angles off to the side.

It works with spokes rims and allows you to check the press or air it up at filling stations. I bought one to keep in my saddlebags. It's easy to use, and you can use any air hose.
The 09 touring models sure lack the space for fingers and gauges. When it's new tire time I will be getting angled valve stems.
While I need a good gauge to angle into the small opening. I opted for nitrogen to keep my pressure more consistant.

What I have found with the EZ Gauge is it locks on to the threads of the valve stem. It's at a 90 degree angle so if I push my valve from the back side about 1/2 inch I can attach the gauge. Once attached you can check the pressure, add or release air without taking it off. Once done just release the level on top and it pops off.
You can also buy 90 degree adapters and either leave them on or put in your bag for when you need it.
Got fed up losing air while trying to align gauge on rear tire stem. so made my own zero loss screw gauge similar to the Harley shock gauge. Used an analog gauge with a Borden mechanism and after checking it accuracy against three other gauges (have also experimented with a digital gauge), took the valve out and epoxed it to a flexible dual wheel tire stem extender. Now i just overfill the tire and bleed out to correct pressure
