those chrome caps that go on the the end of chrome rails that hold a license plate on baggers after you cut them off? My dealer no longer has them.
I'm sorry, I haven't described these well, but I don't know what they're called. It's that round peice of chrome tube the license is bolted to and some cut that piece off when re-locating the plate below the tail light.

Marsh, the products referenced are used to replace the chrome support tube (which is Harley-speak for the part you refer to) after you remove it. Some guys cut the curved part off and use a chrome cap to cover the cut ends. Removing the tube is easy. If you see a bike with the HD Stealth luggage rack, the rack replaces the same tube--it's basically the tube with some luggage rack pieces welded on by HD.

i just went to lowe's and bought a set of hole plugs, they had them in chrome, or in black plastic. i bought the black plastic ones, 1.30 for 2.

i had cut my grab bar off at the very end of the strut cover, so it was not perfectly round, so i had to buy a size smaller than i really needed, but a dab of glue held it in just fine.

I did the same thing with the chrome plugs from Lowes. I cut them off long with a hacksaw, then trimmed them down with the lathe. You could do the same with a pipe cutter for a neater cut.
