Default New lighted windshield trim

Hey all:

The other xmas present I received was the lighted windshield trim. Very expensive, but it does have a high quality, not cheap look.

What do you think?

Oh Yeah, I like that. I am going tommorrow to sign, I think, the dotted line on a 09 Ultra, plus I added almost $4 in chrome and trim. This is something I think I like, too.

No, But, Harley leaves it up to us to actually install the plastic connectors to the wires. Now this is not hard, but the wiring should come with all the black "molex" type connectors installed.

Apparently different years have different configurations. So as opposed to them setting up the individual harnesses, they leave it up to us to adapt them.

You DO have to drill a hole in the fairing for the wiring which means you are "married" to this trim forever to hide the hole.

Overall, the quality looks good and like most Harley stuff it is Metal not plastic....Pricey though...lists at $189.95, got it at 20% off...Still expensive...

Me too !! They made me an offer I couldn't pass up. It was a demo sitting there with a bunch of chrome and add ons, plus Rienhardts. (I always wanted those). I am going to be there tomorrow signing the dotted line.

Oh and it comes with the lighted windshield bar. I can't wait !!!

Congratulations!!! I went out to the garage this morning and I look at my King, and I just get a sick feeling when I think What Am I Doing, Nothing Wrong With This Bike!

I don't have the lighted Windshield bar, but did order the plain one. I can't believe the Ultra don't come with the trim already. LOL
