At the Homestead race I came across this bike. The gentleman that owned it looked like old man winter, I am not sure how old he was. I think he said this was a Shovel and he has owned it for 30 or 40 years (not sure long time though), he said he has ridden several hundred thousand miles. Either way, I bet that bike could tell some stories. I hope I am that way when I get to be his age.

Considering how one looses the ability to balance as they get older, riding a two wheeler at age 88 is actually very extraordinary. Most of us will be happy to still be able to remember who we are when we are 88! God bless him!

I have that problem now at 45. I just hope to be in good health at 65.
Good on him for living life to the fullest.

Lawdawg, if he said that scoot was a shovel, then he was old enought to have lost his mind. It's a pan.

Yep, it's a pan. You don't see many pans with a front disc brake. Lawdawg, I hope you gave him some advice on packing for the road.

I just hope to still be breathing on my own when I see 80.Streetking' I keep telling myself the same thing,but my bones tells me bs.
