Bagger Brace was my choice. I haven't been able to ride with it yet (or even install it for that matter) as there is still too much white stuff on the ground, but i'm looking forward to it. Instructions were clear and easy to read, and install looks to be pretty painless. On top of all the the product it self looks great.

I went with the bagger brace. It was easy to install. It would probably be a pain if your dog bone is bent. You don't have to have a lift, but it is a little easier with one.
I would suggest that the first question you should answer is which of the two basic mounting options works best for you. One type (such as the two you mention) mounts under the frame. The other type replaces the swingarm mount on the right side. I suspect both types do the job of stabilizing the swingarm, but the under-the-frame types typically prevent the mounting of a center-stand and may reduce ground clearance. The second question is how much you want to spend versus your perception of quality. There are probably about 10 different choices out there.

You could probably spend the winter deciding which one from many to go for! If you are really stuck indoors, even spend that time browsing HDF over the last year for comments on them....
I went with TrueTrack, but only because they were the only brand making a kit for my 1990 bike. Done almost 5,000 miles with it now.
As most writers here seem to have bought BB you could save yourself a lot of time getting one too!
throttleupindustries has the best buy of them all.im currently running aaron's version and im happy with it.195 bucks off his site.he ran a special on this forum a few weeks ago,i bought mine for 175 bucks.
I been thinking about a brace as well. I been reading good things about the BB. Is this something that a person that does not is not very mechanical can do? Do you need a left?
Thanks
Bagger Brace here as well. No you don't need a lift to install
it but it would help. You do not have to be mechanically
inclined to install. I went with the BB because of the quality and price.
Good luck on your decision and Ride Safe
