walmart has the schumacker battery tender for $20. it is in the rack with the batteries. has the pig tail already on it for the bike and has an additional pig tial with the clamps for a car. 1.5amp and completely automatic..about the size of a small brick
I have one of those too. The deltran jr is better quality and as I said before easier to use, it does cost a little more though. Both will get the job done. JMHO.

Battery Tender Junior
12V @ 0.75A
If you are just going to use for your motorcycle then the Jr. is probably just fine. If for your car, it would take a long time to bring the battery back up if it was drained, but would still do it.
I have several of the plus models and keep both of my rides on them when not riding. Side benefit is that batteries seem to last longer as they do not deep discharge when not riding week to week if I do not get out to ride.
