Changed Battery, Now have Diag code 1097
I changed out my battery on the '04 Ultra. Bike has a Power Commander III. Now I am getting code 1097. If I am reading right, this is "Loss of Speedometer Serial Data to ECM".
Has any one else seen this? Did I toast something? I have not tried to remove the PCIII from the equation yet.

Haven't seen it, but maybe just ride the bike and try to make sure everything is working, like the speedo I guess, then just clear the code. If it doesn't come back all should be ok. I had codes on mine after grounding a wire and blowing a fuse. After resolving the problem I cleared the codes and all was well.
