Thanks, *****

Very easy. Just have to take off the top of the switch housing and then lift the grip out of the groove and then give a gentle tug. The grip will then come off of the little gear wheel that holds it on. Then pop on the new one and then lift it up and in the groove of the switch housing.

It is pretty easy. Make sure you install the correct one on the throttle side.

So simple even I could do it. Took about 15 minutes, no heartache. Easy modification!

So they are easier than the ones that use the throttle cable? I was all set to have the dealer install mine when I pick up the bike because I assumed they would be as difficult if not worse than the ones on my sportster.

I agree Mike 5959. I changed out my 06 Heritage last years and the cable was such a pain.

Thanks All, I'll give it a try. Gotta be as easy as the run/stop/turn tri bar light which wire's just a little to short.

What I wondered during the install of the Tri Bar light was wahy they didn't include wire ties. The only ones I had at the time were white.

No zip-ties with mine either. Were your wires long enough to tuck up under the seat, mine are just rear of the side panel. (exposed a little)

I put a set of flame grips on my TBW Road King. Had to cut the left grip off - it was glued down pretty good. The throttle side was indeed a piece of cake, slipped right off and the new one slipped right on. There is a gear located at the bottom of the grip so just make sure it is seated before you snug things back up. Very easy mod.
