Anyone installed one. I ordered it last week from chicago 25% off. the dealer want $175 to install. help me if you can. thanks
Well your profile does not say what your ride is but IF you have an 08 its pretty simple, I hear BUT you have to take it to the dealer to have them flash it to make it work. But that should not cost $175.00.
did one this past summer on my 06 EG Standard. I too did not want to drop the bucks on the dealer, so I tackled it. Not too bad, take your time cause you do work from one end of the bike to the other. Only issue I had was getting the ignition switch tumblers lined up. They make a special tool for it but dealer would not share or order once. Found a good entry on here on how to align tumblers with a big flat head screwdriver. Worked like a charm.

The iginition Switch is very easy just leave the switch in the off position with the key in it neal down on the left sid eof the bike and look on the bottom side of the KEY Barrel there is a little button under there Puch up on that button with a small screwdriver and turn the key around backwards as far as it will turn.
Now the Key Barrel is unlocked AND DO NOT TURN it as you are lifting it out of the socket.
Now there is a nut under neath that barrel (Keep all of that stuff in line as & when assembly will be alot easier.)
If ever any problem you can use a flashlight and a screwdriver to align the switch the dealers do not like to show you there tool.
Here is my cell # if you tackle the job and need help Tim 207-949-2499 will be gone ice fishing this weekend / or should say ice drinking LOL
