Default front end question

i am looking to convert my streetglide front end to a single disk setup and was wondering if anyone knows if say a set of lowers from a fatboy or heritage would fit? custom single sided lowers from a few companies are $400-$500 and i can get factory chrome single sided lowers for the other models for much less. just curious

thanks, dan

Sounds like your going to do your own work, what i would do is remove fork and seperate the leg, take the leg to a machinest and have him shave down the leg(ck with your local h.d.dealer or shop for a good machinest)then have booth legs chrome plated(good winter project, and you'll be able to say" i did it all by myself"

My uncle just put a set of Road King lowers (wanted dual discs) on Wide Glide tubes and used Duece tripple trees on his custom he is building. Dont see why you cant do it the opposite way. Try a Heritage too just make sure the tube size matches with lower leg size.

Good Luck.

Fat Boy and Heritage slider will work if using a Fat Boy or Heritage fender. The mounting tabs are in different location. Use Fat Boy legs and fender looks nice.
