Can you put a 09 RKC front tire on an Ultra? I understand that all the front tires on the 09s are 17in except the RKC, which is still 16inches. I can only assume that a 17in front WWW tire isn't available. If I get an Ultra and want the more classic look of Wide Whitewalls, can I use the 16in wheel without any unusual effects in handling?
Well I'm not surprised. The dealerships don't know either. In fact, some folks there didn't even know that front tire size is different on the RKC. I'm sure in time buyers are going to ask for the WWW tires on other bikes and the dealers will learn.
Here is another question. I don't have an 09 catalog, but are the optional wire wheels for the Electraglides 17 inch?
The spokes are 17's. A guy I know has a new FLHX that he ordered with spokes, and since FLHX rims bolt on to an FLHT (been there, done that) I would have to assume that they would bolt on to an FLHTCU.

You would have to switch over to a 16" rim, you should be able to use a 08 touring front rim. Bearing size being the same.
