I didn't want to buy a bagger, but the deal was too good too pass up. I bought it, considered the bagless kit, but none would work for my model. (the battery is stowed behind the right bag)
Since then, I've fallen in love with baggers and would never consider committing such a heinous act. I'd still ride it tho
wow all the negative people! From time to time i would like to change it up and blast around town with out my bags. This is by far the cheapest and easiest way to do it. I guess the time has come that you get Flamed for doing something different to your bike. I did buy a bagger because of the bags but hell i love to travel but i don't carry my luggage with me all the time. besides it only takes a minute to change. Is it not harleys that where once the bike to personalize and change ?
I don't think anyone was being negative. They were just giving
their honest opinion of what they thought. Everyone has
opinions and to each his own. If you like it do it, It's your bike
and your money. That being said. I wouldn't because I think
it's ugly. Again, ugly to me is beautiful to someone else and
what I want to do with my money is not what someone else
wants to do with theirs. Ride Safe!!!

For clarification, it's not the act of going bagless that I don't like on a bagger. It's just that particular kit. It doesn't add anything to the aesthetics of the bike. There's another kit out there, though I'll be damned if I can remember the name/url, that I think looks damn good and would use if I wanted to go bagless for a change.
The kit linked above just doesn't appeal to my sense of what a "bagless bagger" should look like. The other kit is very sleek and streamlined in appearance, and goes a long way to clean up the fugliness that resides under the bags once removed. This one? Just...meh. I like the lines of the bags over this kit.
[EDIT]
Ah...here's a post TFB made about the other kit I was talking about. That one looks better, in my opinion.
