I was happy w my 92 EVO fairly stock, then a friend totaled a 2000 Fatboy that I rebuilt and thought I was set w a bagger and fatboy, then I looked in classified last Mar. and I had to get it thinking everything was done. Wrong I've put $3100 in and still looking at wish list of $2500. I've got to stop, joined HDAA!
Just what I was thinking. I decide that my bike is fine like it is and then I see the latest, mufflers, cams, radio, speakers, amp, tuner, chrome, blah blah blha nd you guys say how great it is. My wife says you all are a bad influence. Pictures only make it worse. Please don't talk about custom paint....
i'm not worried about the "add-on" weight that the wife brings, usually its a bigger pain to deal with all the "stuff" that she has to bring when we go anywhere. I dind't know you needed 4 changes of clothes for a 2 day trip
Our packing goes like this....Left saddlebag has my clothes, plus tool kit, rain gear for both of us. Tour Pak and right saddlebag, PLUS SAC bag for luggage rack, all her "stuff"
That is why I bought one for her (another FLHRC) by the time she got all her "stuff" in the bags and everywhere else, I was sitting on top of the bars!
I read all these threads about new cams, motor work, increased performance, butt dynos, etc, and dang it i want to spend some money. I'm not accustomed to not getting what i want either!!!
Pay a visit to your local H-D dealer, I guarantee he will thin that roll for you quickly.
Just received a message from the MOCO.....we are all in trouble since HDRider2002 is not buying enough bling with his motor upgrades. We need to get busy selling him up.

you know i have been noticing strangers clad in all orange and black placing advertising around my house lately....its not one of you guys is it?
Well, my scoot is at the dealer for a few things, and they are going nto check out the cam chain tensioners while its there. Now i'm not saying i hope there is a problem, but if there is that certainly would aide my decision to do a cam upgrade!
