Lightbulb Help,electrical problem?

This morning riding to work , my 2004 electra glide classic had problems, the head lights went from normal to really bright, the radio went off ,then it all went dim, then the check engine and the battery light came on.Turned around went home. This went on a couple more times on the way.Could this be voltage regulator problem? Service manual dosen't really say much about replacing regulator.Any help would be great. THANKS.

I'll say this, the most common eletrical problem in bikes that should be checked first and is more often overlooked is the ground. Make certain the main ground wire is securely attached to the frame and the area around it is clean and providing good contact.

+1 for cms1528 and the ground wire. check it at the battery, check it at the voltage regulator... i think you'll find the voltage regulator ground wire to be your problem. have seen this on numerous 05-ish model touring bikes..... if memory serves me correct, the ground wire goes from the voltage regulator to the front cylinder head....
