Has anyone ever wired up an aftermarket set of headphones that would be strictly used to listen to the stereo system only. My wife says she could here it better if she had a set of head phones on. Would be used on my 2001 Ultra. Any advice would be appreciated.
thanx

Edsets make some very fine headsets for sure...I have a J&M set that are very good too.
For stereo lestining only, you could get a headphone adapter, this allows you to use 3.5mm headphones, go with a set of inear Bose....get sound, no mic.
Will any set of head phones work if you get an adapter? We don't wear helmets so she would not need a set of helmet headphones. If so where can an adapter be purchased at?
I found a couple of adaptors on ebay for around ten bucks. I use the Shure earphones that reduce outside noise. Makes the music easier to hear at low volume and very little wind or exhaust noise. No more ears ringing at the end of a long day of riding. You can still hear things around your just at a reduced level. I don't like it in city driving but out on the backroads and highways it's great.
