That is correct. If I think I'm going to want the talk option I wear another helmet with the mic which is very rare.

Yes. Simply switch the speaker control toggle switch to the left of the key housing, to headset. I know..its not marked...but turn on your radio, toggle the switch (3 position) and whrn you no longer hear the radio, it on the headset mode.

I use headsets only. i am currently using the HD headsets. I will be adding the Ed speakers to my existing head sets, they sound really good. and only a little over $20 each. I have not found a plug for my 07 ultra from them yet. They only have the 5/6 prong plugs. Yes you can use them with your cb/radio/cd/intercom.

I would also check your state law and see if you are allowed to wear headphone while riding. There is no restrictions for helmet speakers but you are not wearing helmet.

If the passenger has headphones on so the can hear the stereo then I won't be able to hear the stereo up front coming out of the fairing speakers? The whole point of passenger wearing headphones is so they can hear the stereo better.
