Man that is going to look hot. You gotta post up some hi-res pics when you get those bits installed.

It took 6 months to get a painted air cover. Seems everytime I've ordered there, the part was back ordered. I'm done with them. Zanotto offers the same discount.

My blue cobalt vented fairing lowers only took 3 weeks, but that was two years ago, and they may have had them in stock (or the MoCo did - the paint color was still realtively new, so they may have been carrying inventory).

It all depends on what the factory is painting and when... I ordered a tourpak and was told up to 12 weeks. It came in 4! I ordered hard bags; again I was told up to 12 weeks and they came in 2! I suggest you plan on 12 and be happy if you get it sooner. I was pretty happy twice! It's not Chicago HD, it's just the way orders are processed and MOCO does what they do.

I ordered my painted parts from my dealer and waited a total of 4 weeks. It was a custom paint job that Harley offers. What is weird though is the paint job came from a painter out of Arizona. I assumed Harley paints their own tins, but clearly they outsourced the job.

Regardless, it was worth the wait.

When my bike was wrecked in August, it took untill the Middle of December to get the painted parts in. It was right at 14 weeks.

Wow, my nearest dealer, House of Harley, has a flat $210 fee to pull, paint and re-install an inner fairing. Sounds like a very fair price...

Edit: that really is their price, just had it done and got my Ultra back yesterday, they even insisted on delivering it in a trailer instead of me riding it home on the salty streets

Got a painted tour pak from Chicago HD, and it took about 3 weeks as well. Took a month for the lock though.
