I saw my first Rootbeer color scheme at the 'stealer' a week ago. It was on the Streetglide, but the color scheme is identical, less the lowers and tour pack...
It has a unique Harley script in tan and gold, that looks like a painted sign you might have seen hanging 150 years ago in Deadwood, SD. The bike looks like it belongs in the Black Hills! Sturgis, here we come!
My only bitch is if you sit on an '08 then an '09, the newer bike feels like a '63 Duoglide...the bikes you rode 'on top of' rather than 'down inside of' (like the 'ol shovels, evos & twin cam bikes)....
All I can say is, "If I see this color on a FLHTCU or FLHX in Daytona next weekend and it looks as good in sunlight as it did under the stealer's gas-halogen storage building lights, I may forget about the high-sitting frame.
BL..."IT IS THE BEST DARN COLOR COMBINATION EVER CONCEIVED"...IMHO
Willie G and the boys get an AAA+++ for this one!
this was covered last weekend on a thread I started.................someone posted pictures of a ultra in this color scheme.............it's frickin' gorgous...........looks best on the ultra.................can't find the link...but if you check back to last weekend you may find it again..................
i saw one at the dealer last week and it is an awesome combination!! looking at pictures online i thought it sounded cool, but looked nasty...once i saw it in person i was very, very pleasantly surprised. i can only imagine how it will look in the sunlight!! also agree w/ a previous post, the script on the side is sweeeeet.
