Congrats on the deal, awesome looking bike. I recently got what I think was a good deal on my first batwinger and I love it. No wind kicking my butt and the tunes are off the chain. Best of luck.....be safe!
The bike is a 2006 Vivid Black Electra Glide Classic with a whole 895 miles on the clock and all original mileage. Seller had serious back injuries and he'd been unable to ride and was postponing the inevitable.. selling the bike. He'd started out "up there" in pricing as this is basically a brand new unmolested stock EGC and I can't say as I blame him. I'd had a look at some small photos and it looked like any other EGC and he'd told me it looks like it just came off of the showroom floor. I'm here to tell ya, when I got out of my truck and after about a two minute walk around, I about soiled my britches and had a hell of a time keeping the shi** eating grin off of my face, he sure wasn't kidding about the condition! Make a long story, we talked price for several days and I was basically playing the point that I was an all cash buyer. Well, it worked. Between the cost of the bike, fuel to drive round trip about 600 miles, Uhaul trailer rental etc it set me back a tad over $13,200. I'd hoped for a nice sunny day today however, not happening. Cold, damp, overcast and showering off and on. None the less, I snapped a few pics and thought I'd post them here. I looked at the new 09's, some 08's and 07's but I just didn't want to get into any loan situation with this economy the way it is and while I'd liked to have had the 6th gear, I'm not complaining. I figure between the difference in cost of a brand new EGC at say $19k and sales taxes tossed in, I'd have been at $20,300 and change. With the bike after taxes let's just say I'm going to be save a hell of alot of cash in taxes that I can put towards the mods.
That being said, here's the new ride........
Glad to see you finally got a new scoot in the garage !! Looks good !!
As a former LEO I would like to advise you of your right to remain silent, You have the right to an attorney.... You should be able to afford one cause you stole that bike...
Oh well great deal on the bike. Bought an 07 Heritage classic for my wife with 497 miles on it. Paid 15,500.00 in Sept. Good luck you will love it.

Lol hey thanks Nelly. I work i n Law Enforcement myself and well versed on my rights lmao. Stole indeed. When I looked at that bike and did a comparison to the new 09's and granted there are many changes in the bikes, but there was just too much bike for the price to pass on it. I've got a good friend in South Florida who's a hell of an engine builder and down the road, I'll go for a 95" build that will smoke. He's already done one for me and all he would say before I took off was... "Hang on tight".
