Interested to see some answers for this. As an aside to this, I've always heard make sure no pool chemicals are stored where your motorcycle is stored.

Park my bike in a heated garage at my dads doesn't get opened much unless were riding or taking a car in to work on and have no issues. WE park them on old pcs of carpet and do fine. Now anytime the garage is 68 degrees and you open the door and its 20 degrees outside your going to get some condensation when the cold air hits the warm metal but in heated garage it should not be bad. I have also heard put a fan blowing on the bike to keep the air moving.
Do a search on this topic. Lots has been discussed recently. Most people say to place a piece of cardboard or carpet under the bike and use a fan. Others suggest placing a light bulb under the bike. I tried this and it doesn't work as well as a fan. Lastly, if you use a cover, make sure it's a breathable material.
I have had my bike on my mc jack all winter with the celing fan on and 50-70 degrees in the shop. I have not had any issues with moisture/condensation. Mind you I heat with a forced air furnace.
This air circulting must have a lot to do with the lack of condensation.

No bleach of any kind no where in the garage. I have seen the result of a bottle of bleach in the garage with my brother-in-laws bike. Every nut and bolt will turn white.
