Ive been rideing a long time and never had a seat problem until I bought a new 2008 ultra I have done every thing I can think of to the seat I bought a roho air seat pad and still I get this sharp pain in my shoulder blade that kills me.I thought that maybe the handle bars where to far out but that does not seem to be the case .any one else with this problem let me know if you have any fixes. Thanks
I had pains in my right shoulder blade after rideing both my Road King and Night Train. I got pull back bars for the Night Train and Reduced Reach for the Road King, Mustang seats for both, now I can ride all day with no pain.
Thanks for the reply I dont think its the bars I seem to have plenty of reach .But that Mustang seat that you spoke of is there a web page where I could look at them. Thanks
I had the same problem with my RK, a little higher bar cured the problem.
Sit up straight on the bike and put your hands out to where you think would
be a comfortable riding position and see where your hands are in relation to
the grips. Problem with this is that things will change when and if you put on a new seat,
but it might point you in the right direction. good luck

Probably less then a new seat. Bars check out Wild One 575 which will pull back a couple inches and that made a difference for me.
