I would,you can always take stuff of the classic,plus you would have a newer bike wiyh lots less miles,bigger eng.6 spd trans.

You can be smart if you like a SG. Trade with him and trade it for an 09 SG. Get more for the 08 than the 06. And you wind up with a 3year newer ride.
This is what I'm thinking too.
Which one would get me a better return if I sold it, or traded it in on a new which ever model I bike like.

Common...! We must know his reason for wanting to trade. I can speculate why but I want to know his reason. I bought an 06 when 07 were available, my reasoning as been discussed and worn out on this forum am not re-hatching that can of worms. But I'm curious of his motivation.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! However, if he has a clean title to the scoot and it is still under warranty, his loss could be your gain.

I agree with the trade. Get the 08 the take it in and go for the 09.
