intercom with half helmet

I use the MIT-15H Made by IMC can use it with half helmets and done well using with no helmet as well ... Only thing wrong with it is should have a Mute feature for the OL

See this post https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...met-ultra.html I went with the small HD velcro pockets with my 1/2 helm and HD mic set... Easy easy easy to install and remove. Small foot print... velco pockets only cost $25 and look great...

My wife and I use the Cardo Scala Q2 Rider System. It is bluetooth and works bike to bike as well as you can pair with cell phone also. When we first got them, I clamped them to the half helmets and used the hd com pockets to hold the speakers. The mic boom was just almost too short. I mounted the boom assembly to the left speaker pocket then put the ear piece in. They work great. We went riding 2 weeks ago and got 11 hours of use out of them. The Q2 is nice that it shuts itself down after 30 seconds of nothing (mainly when stopped, wind will keep it activated) which saves battery when eating lunch. It turns back on when you talk into it. My wife rides her own and loves the fact that if something happens and for some reason I am not looking in the mirror, she can tell me. It's security for her, and for me, I like talking to my wife.

I use the IMC setup and it works pretty well. I can use it with or without the helment flaps.
