Holster in Vest
But my question was more in regard to knowing you need to go into a place that's off limits for carry, either ahead of time before you leave the house, or while you're already out and about. Aside from leaving the sidearm at home, how can you safely stow the sidearm on the bike to legally enter said places?
Carrying as much as you have, you must have thought of this before?
I mean, I can't go into a restaurant that serves alcohol, even if I just want to eat, in NC or SC, seems like even a lot of sandwich shops sell beer at least. That's probably the biggest one, but there are many others, banks (NC), schools, public buildings, post offices, churches (SC), medical offices (SC), etc.
Like I said, lock boxes for the 4 wheel vehicles, but nothing on the bike....
Any thoughts?
As for the alcohol question, I was honestly unaware that SC law prohibited from carrying into any establishment that serves alcohol. I've been out of the game for a few years. I just called my local range which teaches the CWP class and they confirmed it. He also told me they are currently lobbying to get that law changed. I agree that it is an ill conceived law. As a LEO, I could carry anywhere in the state, including bars, hospitals, court rooms, schools etc.
On that note, I'll give you my opinion. If I'm carrying concealed, then no one but me needs to know. If I happen to stop for a bite to eat in a restaurant that serves alcohol, no one would know that I'm carrying unless a situation arose where I needed to draw my weapon. And in that event, I would take my chances with the misdemeanor charge vs. not having a gun. Again, this is just my opinion.
And finally, I don't think I'd be ok with leaving the gun on the bike, though with hard locking bags, I'd be a little more comfortable than with leather bags or a tool bag etc.
If not, it's a decent set up that I would consider.

To the OP, reading some of the replies, many of them are offering a lot of ideas, but not too many directly reply to your original question. I had some time to go back through some of the posts, and noticed this one:

Looks like according to the description, the side we can't see may have soft velcro on it too...
Accessories with Velcro back panel, it is possible to mount on bags or induments compatible, it is also possible to change the pockets according to the different operative requirements
I'm still looking for something too, but in case you never had time to find this item on that site, I thought I'd point it out...

So this is a flat panel w/ enough surface area to attach to the opposite velcro panel on the garment, and then there's a small elastic type opening it seems to stretch to fit a variety of handguns. Have to be real careful when re-holstering something like this, but should keep it snug for carry, and be portable from garment to garment w/ similar system:

Here is a double mag pouch for the other side:

There's also some pouches like this for a flashlight on this site.
The reason I was looking for one of these too, was for another vest/jacket (jacket where sleeves zip off) I have. It offers no abrasion resistance, so not the best motorcycle gear, although some of their stuff might double as rain gear, but they use a velcro panel system in some of their clothing, and most of their stuff has a bazillion pockets in it for documents, electronics, concealed carry, water bottles / hydration packs, etc. I hope they make some cycle gear sometime, but I got an all around black hip length jacket/vest combo from them, it's pricey, but I got it on clearance at end of season for like 1/2 off. It's called Scotte Vest, again not moto gear necessarily, but in case you, or anyone else is interested, it's pretty cool stuff, some features of my jacket include the ability to turn it into a vest, the sides zip up for easy access to a sidearm on the belt, the pockets have zippers inside to discretely get to something in your shirt, belt, or pant pockets, the jacket can be zipped up but also has magnetic flaps for quick close/open when full zipper not needed, etc., and mine had the two jackets in one, a fleece inside jacket that can be worn all by itself, an outer nylon shell jacket that can be worn all by itself, or they can be zipped together for one heavier/warmer jacket:
