Anyone try contacting Milwaukee Bagger to see if they might offer a DISCOUNT on a group buy for Forum members? I'd like one, but $300.00 is STEEP.
I did this evening. Spoke to Nick at Milwaukee Bagger and got some information and we're discussing a discount--he's amenable to giving a discount to HDF members but don't have all the details, yet. I will speak to him in the a.m. and get the details for posting here. This won't be a group buy per se; rather, a discount for HDF members. You order and pay for the item directly.
He has sold about 100 of them over the past two years with no reports of any problems. His rack was designed to work with his wide fender kit, so it is slightly wider than the HD rack, so the sides are pressed inward when mounting it on the bike. They're available in chrome and powder coated black.
i recall in an earlier thread, someone saying that klockwerks also has the same style mount. anyone know anything about that? looked on there site but didn't see it
