Listen to Maineulta... he's the Pipe King here lol.... right Steve? I've run one on the RG I had and just ordered another with the not so quiet baffle yesterday from Eastern Performance... $669 with free ship.
Thanks for the replies, I was thinking about a Black Cat, I’m tired of watching chrome turn blue and I thought it might look nice on a white (as mine is) bike.
I live in a very corrosive environment and I went with white with an eye to getting the chrome powder coated as it started to rust, a black and white theme. But, after looking at some of the photos, I have another decision to make. I just might have to stay with chrome.
As almost everyone else here has said, the Fat Cat is an awesome exhaust. It produces good power down low, doesn't run out of steam at the top end, and has a very entertaining soundtrack! I had one on an 05 Ultra and loved it. Since then I've had Rineharts and V&H on different touring bikes, and I'd say the Fat Cat is superior for low down pick-up - and there's that mellifluous sound!
One downside is that it tends to run a bit hotter on the right leg - that's only a problem if you do a lot of parade riding (aka stuck in traffic) on hot days. In Vegas that's a problem - for most other places, it's not.
