Strapless
I use a Kendon fold up. Does debris hit it? Does debris hit you if you're riding the bike instead of trailering it? yes to both I'm sure. I just put together a strapless system for my Kendon and now I don't need to spend 45 minutes strapping before I leave and then checking it every time I gas. Loaded and locked down in 5 minutes. I pull it with a 4 cyl. Toyota. Had to sell the Haulmark and Tahoe when gas was $4.00, and now I'm used to the car and small trailer, and I expect gas to go back to $4.00 !!! And I load it by myself.

I don't mind saying I have a kendon single trailer. I pull my bike behind the motorhome when I take the family camping. You can buy a rock guard from Kendon to keep debris off of the bike or you can fashion you own. Currently, I'm building a compartment that I can install on my trailer to pull behind my bike to go single camping on long runs. I want to get the most of my trailer as possible. Pull the compartment off and stand the trailer up for storage when not in use. Hope this helps. Be well.
