However, I have found that as I add items to an order, I've actually seen the total shipping charges decline.

There is a cost to doing business, stocking, store overhead, employees so I guess small orders just get penalized. Don't they realize the next order may be a big one. Why doesn't someone e-mail them this concept and it would average out over the long run?
